The vehicle has averaged right around 5,500 miles per year, low miles considering most average drivers put 15,000 miles per year on a vehicle. The previous owner took very good care of the car and it shows. It was garage kept and the paint looks excellent with a deep glossy shine and the undercarriage is as clean as the rest of the vehicle. The interior is also very clean with no unusual stains on the carpet, the leather seats are in great shape and there are no odors in the car either ( non smoker ). Mechanically the cadillac is in great shape. It starts right up and idles smooth, accelerates nice and shifts smooth through all gears with no unusual noises. It drives very nice at highway speeds ( 65-70 mph ) with no vibrations or unusual noises and the suspension does not make any abnormal noises when going over bumps on the road. It has that " cadillac ride " everyone always refers to, very smooth & quiet ride on the highway & in town driving. It's just a very well kept vehicle and i wouldn't hesitate to drive it on a 1000 mile round trip. Within the last 10 miles we had the car fully serviced and inspected by a ase certified mechanic. He put it up on a lift and inspected the undercarriage ( no oil or coolant leaks ). He also checked the oil level and condition of the transmission & it was full and clean. He replaced the engine oil & filter and all other maintenance was up to date, the car also comes with a nation-wide warranty at no cost. These 4. 6l v8 engines are very reliable and have been around for a long time. Gm uses this engine in the cadillac dts, cadillac sts, cadillac srx crossover suv and the cadillac xlr convertible roadster. A lot of these have well over 150,000 miles and still in good running condition, this one has right around 55,000 miles and a lot of life left. The car has several nice options and here are a few: heated leather seats, memory driver seat, dual power seats, cd player, abs brakes, power windows, locks & mirrors, cruise control, chrome wheels, cloth top, chrome grille, chrome door moldings and more.
