During their 9 year ownership they made several vehicles with the same engine, transmission and platform as their mercedes benz vehicles just with a different name badge. The chrysler crossfire is basically the same exact car as the mercedes slk roadster and has the same 3. 2l v6 engine, transmission and differential as the slk. These cars are built extremely well, very fun to drive with great performance and excellent handling. The previous owner took very good care of the vehicle and it shows. It was more than likely garage kept because the paint looks great with a nice and deep glossy shine, there are no clear coat issues or rust anywhere on the car. The interior is also very nice with no unusual wear on the front leather seats, the carpet is clean and there are no odors in the vehicle either. I drove the vehicle and put around 50 miles on it and mechanically it runs & drives very nice. It starts right up and idles smooth, accelerates without any hesitation and the transmission shifts smooth through all gears with no issues. At highway speeds ( 65-70 mph ) the vehicle drives down the road straight with no unusual noises and it does great around town as well. It's just a well kept vehicle and i wouldn't hesitate to take it on a 1000 mile round trip. Within the last 10 miles i had it fully inspected and serviced by a ase certified repair facility. The mechanic put it up on the lift and inspected the bottom of engine and transmission. He also checked the oil level and condition of the transmission and it was full and clean. He replace the oil & filter, replaced the tires, everything else was up to date and the vehicle comes with a $0 deductible nation-wide warranty at no cost. The car has heated leather seats, power rear spoiler, traction control with stability management, key-less entry, premium factory sound system, 18 inch premium wheels, cruise control, power windows, power locks, power mirrors and more.
